Become a vegetarian… and help stop climate change

This article in the New Scientist (24 September) explains that methane is an even more powerful greenhouse gas than we had realised.

Basically what that means is that eating less meat and dairy products can help to stop climate change.

And as the article also says, we need to achieve “very considerable emissions reductions within the next 10 years”.

(What it doesn’t say, though, is whether eating more parsnips, sprouts, and cabbage is a good thing.)
