Transition Town wins art and climate change award

Earlier this year our friends at The Maltings alerted us to the Tipping Point awards: grants enabling professional artists to create new performance work in the context of climate change.

At the time we didn’t have any suitable projects ourselves, but it is great to hear that Transition Town Tooting has won one of the top awards.

Tipping Point received 178 proposals from across the UK from which only four were selected to receive grants between £15,000 and £30,000.

You can read more about Tooting’s winning proposal and their Project Phakama here and here.
