Peak Oil expert in Guildford on Thursday 17th

Dear fellow Transitioners,

Very last minute but please can you alert your members that one of the world’s most influential experts on Peak Oil is coming to speak to GEF and the Geographical Association in Guildford on Thursday 17 September at 1830 (repeat 1830) in the Auditorium at the Royal Grammar School in the Upper High Street, Guildford. His talk is entitled “Peak Oil Supplies – Threat or Opportunity”. Chris is the Consulting Editor to the Energy Institute and writes “From the Editor” in every issue of Petroleum Review. So he is a strong voice within the oil industry as well as consulting widely on peak oil.

We are extremely fortunate to have an expert of Chris Skrebowski’s stature talking in Guildford and I encourage you to come and challenge his conclusions. Chris is a strong advocate of Peak Oil.

All welcome. This is a free event.

Kind regards, John Bannister, Chair, Guildford Environmental Forum, Transition Town Guildford, MEI
