This weekend, 19-20 September, 22 people gathered just outside Farnham to take part in Transition Training.
They came from Transition Initiatives in Farnham, Godalming, Haslemere and Reading. One non-transitioneer even came all the way from London (by train and bike of course!).
The training was much enjoyed by all. We learned the key facts about peak oil and climate change, and how to communicate them. We had an overview of Transition and were told the principles by which it operates. We learned how to set up a Transition Initiative. We reflected on the Inner transition that is just as important as the Outer one. And we had a good time. We finished the weekend tired, but reinvigorated.
