Eloise GreyCongratulations to Eloise Grey on the official opening of her new shop today.

Eloise is a founder member of Transition Town Farnham and her business makes and sells ethical clothing.

Resilience is a central concept to Transition, and Eloise Grey products are resilient both in the sense that the clothes are made in the UK, from British wool, keeping alive old skills and providing jobs in East London and the Isle of Mull rather than China, and the clothes themselves are of high quality and very durable so they will last years rather than needing to be thrown away and replaced every year (unlike some other brands we won’t mention).

Since Transition Farnham’s launch a year ago, Eloise has launched a menswear collection, and her new shop will sell a range of clothes and other items that share a similar ethos — artisan-made, to high quality, in the UK.

We wish her every success at her new shop at 20 Downing Street, above Purity.
