You are warmly invited to a meeting with officers of the Permaculture Association at 7.30pm on Friday 16th October at the new Garden Gallery of the Museum of Farnham in West Street.
Harriet Walsh, an officer of the Association and former resident of Frensham, and Andy Goldring, CEO, will talk about permaculture and the work of the Association, in particular the new Land Project which aims to set up a demonstration network of permaculture projects throughout England.
The meeting should provide an ideal opportunity for the genesis of a local permaculture network in in the West Surrey and NE Hamsphire Borders area.
The 2009 AGM of the Permaculture Association takes place this year on Saturday 17th October at the Bricks and Bread Sustainable Living Centre in Aldershot. This has created the opportunity for a “fringe meeting” with local people. The meeting is open to non-members, so anyone curious about permaculture will be welcome! It will be especially useful to those involved in local food intiatives, Transition Town groups, Greening Campaigns, etc. in the West Surrey/Hampshire borders.
To find out more about the Permaculture Association visit the webpage http://www.permaculture.org.uk/
The meeting is arranged by Transition Farnham and is a free event. Donations towards the cost of hiring the Garden Gallery space will be appreciated. Coffee will be available.
Access to the Garden Gallery is via the side entrance of the Museum. Here is a link to the location map for the museum http://www.multimap.com/s/kqXMx298
Car parking is available in the Lower Hart on the north side of West Street.
Finally, if you wish to come please let me know via email or phone 01420 22094. And do circulate this invitation as widely as possible!
An A5 flyer is also attached here.
I hope you find the evening rewarding.
