Transition round up: Rob Hopkins // Farnham Community Play // Summer BBQ // World in Transition // Transition Conference

Welcome to another round up of the Transition Week.

This week saw Rob Hopkins come to Waverley, where around 80-100 people (some from as far afield as Chichester and Portsmouth) turned out to hear him speak.

Farnham’s community play project continues to go from strength to strength, with an open public meeting scheduled for 13 July.

Before that, the weekend of the Summer Solstice sees our now-traditional midsummer bbq, details here.

Rob Hopkins latest summary of all the transition activity around the world (and it is quite stunning this month) is here: http://transitionfarnham.ning.com/profiles/blogs/transition-around-the-world

And finally, the Transition Conference is this weekend — I won’t be going and tickets have now completely sold out, but a good time will be had by all those who do go 🙂 http://transitionfarnham.ning.com/profiles/blogs/transition-conference-reminder

Have a great weekend whatever you are doing
From all of us at Transition Farnham
