As well as workshops and demonstrations there will be an array of market stalls featuring local and national hand-produced food, from smallholdings, allotments and independent farms, selling cheeses, free-range eggs, breads and homemade preserves, jams and sauces.
Displays will include a range of locally-produced wines and beers from independent British vineyards and breweries, a room dedicated entirely to Christmas(!), a spice room, a chocolate room, and a room dedicated to ‘sugarcraft’ run by Squires Kitchen, who are sponsoring the event.
Sounds good, especially if there is a large amount of ‘local’ and ‘independent’.
The festival will run from 10am to 4pm on Sunday 7 November.
