Looks like it’s going to be a colder winter…

Scientists have found that the heavy snows in the United States, northern Europe and western Asia last winter are linked to higher air temperatures over the Arctic.

Now they are saying that the signs of climate change — warmer air, less sea ice, melting glaciers — are so widespread in the arctic this year that it probably means the region will not return to its former, colder state.

Which is bad news for the polar bears, and bad news for us.
