“There will be fuel” — or not

The New York Times recently published an article entitled “There will be fuel”. It argued that increases in production of ‘non-conventional’ fuels, combined (interestingly) with a fall in demand would soon bring the USA “something that very closely approximates energy independence.”

This response from the post carbon institute explains why that article is a load of bunkum.
