Carbon Rationing comes a step closer

Last Tuesday, the All Party Parliamentary Group on Peak Oil launched their report into the ‘Tradable Energy Quotas’ approach to carbon rationing.

Government is realising that we cannot continue to increase our energy usage, and is looking for solutions. Rationing may seem a big change from what we have now, but it is the only fair solution, and modern technology allows us to make it much more sophisticated than the rationing of the 1940s and 50s.

Watch the opening talk below (by MP John Hemming), and more much more here: http://www.teqs.net/report

And there’s a good blog about it here: http://climatesafety.org/carbon-and-the-common-good-values-in-green-policy/
