Greening the urban landscape

About 18 months ago Farnham Transition member Gayle Souter-Brown proposed trees  in big containers as a simple way to improve Farnham’s East Street eyesore.

She has since moved back to New Zealand, where her ideas are now being sought in the post-earthquake redevelopment of the city of Christchurch.
