Seattle is taking the next steps in achieving its vision to become the kind of place people want to live in the 21st century.
A seven acre public park will be planted as a ‘food forest’ later this year.
Species to be grown include walnuts and chestnuts, blueberries, raspberries, apples, pears, and various herbs.
Their fruits will be available to residents.
