Free Talk on Human Nutrition and Planetary Health

Healthy Diet, Healthy Planet – A Talk

Can we eat in a way that is good for our health and sustainable for the planet?
As part of the Haslemere Food Festival and in association with Haslemere 30, Transition Haslemere is pleased to host a discussion on diet and the environment.
Duncan Williamson, senior policy advisor for food at WWF UK, will discuss the principles of a diet that is healthy and sustainable both for us and for the planet.  He will look on the WWF’s pioneering research on diet in Europe – the LiveWell Plate – and how we might apply it our own lives.
The talk takes place on Monday 9th September at the Georgian House Hotel. Haslemere High Street. 7.30pm with the talk starting at 8pm, followed by questions and discussion. Entrance is free.
