Farnham Green Drinks

Meeting at the Albion pub, 2 Hale Road, Farnham, GU9 9QH.  Every Third Tuesday in the month from 7:30pm. The pub serves food and has a pleasant atmosphere, there are large tables suitable for groups to meet around.

This is an informal opportunity to meet up with people who are interested in Transition stuff, to share ideas with like minded people, and to pick up on the enthusiasm. Anyone who has a project in mind will find a helpful audience and constructive advice on hand. If you are new to Transition then come along to our “Green Drinks” to learn more.

 

Farnham Repair Cafe

10.00 – 12.30 am on the second Saturday of the month through out the year, except not in August. Located at the Main Hall on north side of United Reform Church in South Street, Farnham. We offer a volunteer “sharing the repair” experience, so bring anything that needs fixing and we’ll have a go or guide you to a repair service elsewhere in town.  You’re welcome just to come along and see what we do!

Hoppers Social Evenings

Every third Wednesday of the month, members catch up on hop news, so if you are interested in the Farnham Hoppers scheme this is a good opportunity to learn more. We meet at the Jolly Sailor pub in West Street, Farnham, at 8.00 for 8.30pm.  Conversation is always worth the drink!

Incredible Edible Cinema

Tuesday screenings fortnightly during UCA term-time, 7.00 -10.00pm, at the Farnham Pottery, Wrecclesham. Started in summer of 2015 the Incredible Edible Cinema is so named because it a social film and food night with an hour of documentary shorts by artist film-makers sandwiched between a pot-luck supper and discussion. There is a £3.00 voluntary contribution towards costs. This is a very popular event in a magical setting.
